Nicaraguan Blend - Maduro Roast 400g

It took me years searching for the perfect coffee to pair with a cigar. I wanted something smooth and clean, with flavor that would compliment a cigar but not overpower it.

Nicaraguan Blend is grown at an altitude between 4,500 and 5,000 feet above sea level in the northern Nicaraguan towns of Ocotal, Jinotega, and Matagalpa. This high altitude directly improves the quality of the coffee.

We use a blend of three varieties: Parainema, Maragogipe and Caturra. The beans are analyzed for flavor, body, acidity and balance. They only pass if they score 86 points or more out of 100.

This level of quality can only be achieved in small batches. The beans are hand-sorted (European Preparation), and are packaged immediately after roasting, in which they come out smelling of delicious chocolate cream.

A low acidity medium roast, the Maduro Roast is silky smooth with a delicately sweet and slightly rich flavor. But don't be fooled, it's also one of the strongest coffees you'll ever try, in terms of waking you up.
